Asymptote was developed by Andy Hammerlindl, John C. Bowman, and Tom Prince.
The examples at this website, asymp.net, have been created with LaTeX in mind and are embedded in LaTeX documents. They can be compiled (and edited) online. Note, that the rendering is sometimes in low resolution (settings.render=0) to work with the TeXlive.net compiler. You can render vector images and high-resolution raster images on your PC with different settings.
